An article posted by Craig K. Comstock on the Huffington Post talks of the huge success of Michael Mithoefer’s study into the medicinal purposes of MDMA, in particular reference to treating post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

After MDMA-assisted psychotherapy, 80% no longer met the diagnostic criteria for PTSD, as compared to only 25% in the control group.

The Beckley Foundation’s pioneering work on psilocybin, commonly known as magic mushrooms, is also mentioned.
